"Clipper Adventurer"
There has been an increasing number of small liners appearing in Kinsale over the past few years. Here, the Clipper Adventurer is making her first visit to Kinsale in June, 2002. It spent two days in Kinsale and while there the crew arranged visits for their guests to local tourist attractions and golf courses. This particular voyage took in Norway, the Orkney Islands, the Shetland Islands, Scotland and, of course, Ireland over a 14 day period.
A typical voyage takes in the smaller, less visited ports. However, this ship does travel the world and has a varied cruise schedule. On board there are 122 berths in 61 outside cabins. Also, she has a strengthened (A-1 grade) hull making her capable of ice-breaking and thus allowing visits to Arctic and Greenland shores which are sometimes on the agenda.
