2025 ISFC Specimen Awards Day:

   The 2025 Irish Specimen Fish Committee (ISFC) Specimen Awards Day will be held on Sat 15^th Feb at 2.30 pm in the Clayton Hotel Leopardstown Dublin.

   All anglers who caught a specimen fish in 2024 are invited to attend.

NOTE:

   The Irish Specimen Fish Committee Report 2024, including two new Irish records, has just been released as a digital download. In the coming weeks, hard copies of the report will be available free of charge from Inland Fisheries Ireland offices nationally.

   Almost 500 exceptionally large fish of different species were caught by anglers from venues throughout Ireland in 2024. The vast majority of these fish were released again following weighing & measuring.

   Here's a heads-up for Ireland’s only dedicated fishing exhibition will be held, once again, at UL Sports Arena Limerick, with event organisers Mara Media aiming to add new features to the show, and changes to the current layout to maximise viewing potential and allow for more exhibitors to showcase their products and services. It occurs but once every 2 years.
