The Annual St. Patrick's Maritime Parade is taking place this year as usual on Sunday evening 16th of March at 7.30pm with fireworks at approximately 8pm.
Hi all,
Thank you for registering for the Maritime Parade.
We will be using VHF Channel 6 for the duration of the Maritime Parade.
We need all boats behind the block house no later than 7.15pm so that we can start at 7.30 sharp.
Please use navigations lights going out only.
The Parade will then be led by Eamonn O’Neill on his boat Resurection 2. We would ask all boats to line up behind
Resurection 2 by 7.15pm at the very latest.
We would ask that all persons on board your boat would wear a life jacket.
RNLI WILL BE ON DUTY DURING THE PARADE SHOULD ANYONE REQUIRE THEM.
Presentation of Prizes will take place by kind invitation of Mr. Anthony Scannell Commodore in the Kinsale Yacht Club after the fireworks. This year there is a new memorial trophy in memory of Desmond Hurley for first place. This has kindly been donated by Liz and Gerard Timmons of The Boat House Gallery and members of the Hurley Family will be joining us for presentation of this new trophy.
Thank you all again for participating in this community event.
Áine Ryan O’Brien and all on the St. Patricks’ Maritime and
Day Parade Committee.
