A torpedo tube can be seen just right of the tip of the bow of the submarine at the top of this photograph. The rear dive planes can also be seen.
What looks like a conning tower is actually the main structure of the port saddle tank - the submarine lists to starboard. The conning tower has separated from the hull and now lies alongside and parallel to the pressure hull. For a VIDEOof the wreck please see HERE.
