This is a Video of a Mooring Inspection made on 29/Apr/2022. The rope riser has just been cleaned of mussels and the ground chain shows some interesting galvanic action results in the area around the galvanized steel chain and shackles and a stainless steel swivel. That chain, swivel and shackles were replaced.
Anglers might spot the young Grey Gurnard (at 03:37), (which in Ireland had been called the Cuckoo Fish, Nooud or Knoud). Also, after that, a Hermit Crab can be made out scurrying away from the base of the mooring's concrete sinker.
